Poetry: Not Naming Names

Being where I am,
it's hard to voice my thoughts.
Though the miles are great,
I will do my best to speak my heart.

Our time has been short,
merely falling grains of sand.
I decided to give you my heart,
though I'm not naming names.

You know who you are and
you know what you mean to me.
The miles may expand and contract,
but you are always with me.

I count the minutes and the days,
passing like the leaves falling out your windows.
You drive me and my steps,
I'm your willing passenger.

I hope I made this clear and concise,
and haven't messed up too badly.
When I say I love you I truly mean it,
though for now I'm not naming names.
