Writing: Moment in Time - Fooling Around

She sits on his lap, her hands tracing a line down his neck, across his chest, back up, and through his hair. She watches with a small smile as his eyes close. Her hands gripping his hair and lightly pulling back. Her breathing is calm, her eyes mischievous. She leans forward and kisses his neck, feeling the breath slowly escape his lips. Her heartbeat speeds up as her kisses travel to his collarbone where she lightly clasps her teeth on it. She listens as he gasps, feeling his hands close around her hips.

His mind is blank, save for thoughts of her. His hands, taking control of their own movements since the mind is no longer able, slide slowly up her sides, feeling the material of her shirt bunch and exposing the softness of her skin. He feels her teeth close on his collar and a shudder runs through his body. He lowers his head and brings his lips to her neck. He alternates kisses and bites, careful to walk the line between pain and pleasure. He listens as her breath quickens and she pushes her body deeper into him.

Her head arches back and a gasp escapes her lips. Her eyes, wide and dripping with passion, stare skyward. Her fingers run through his hair, lightly pulling. She grinds into him, feeling him quiver under her. Her breathing no longer calm, she exhales harder and faster. She feels his hands slide under her shirt and is electrified at his touch. She wants to guide his hands to where she wants them. No, where she knows they need to be.

They sit, locked in that eternal moment where only they exist. They share one heartbeat, one mind, one soul. Their love knows more than this moment, this passion. They connect on a deeper level, which makes their actions now meaningful. Their shared heartbeat echoes in the room, shaking the walls in a steady rhythm. They are all that matters tonight and the night is far from over...
